From our studio to your door
Ana Chic pieces are made by hand in Türkiye, in homes across Anatolia, by women we work with directly. Every piece ships from our Brighton studio, packed by hand. This page answers the questions we hear most about shipping, customs and delivery.

All orders are shipped with tracking. You receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves our Brighton studio.
Customs, duties and taxes
United Kingdom
No customs charges. Prices shown include VAT where applicable.
European Union
Orders to EU countries may be subject to local import VAT and, for orders above the EU low-value threshold (€150), a customs duty. These are charged by your local courier or customs office on delivery and are not included in the price you pay at checkout. We mark every package with its correct commercial value so there are no surprises.
United States
The USD 800 duty-free threshold (de minimis) was suspended by the US government in 2025, so orders may be charged import duty regardless of value, collected by the carrier on delivery. We mark every package with its correct commercial value, so any charge is based only on what you actually paid.
Rest of the world
Import duties, local taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking your country's threshold before ordering.
Why we cannot prepay customs duties
We are a small independent studio, not a large retailer with a Delivery Duty Paid agreement. Prepaying customs on every international parcel is not something our courier partners offer at our volume. We know this is not the smoothest experience and we are working on it as we grow.
Handmade means finite
If your piece is in stock, it is packed and dispatched within 2 to 5 working days. Pieces marked Limited Restock are crocheted for you from scratch and take 21 to 28 working days before dispatch — you will see this noted on the product page before you order.
Tracking your order
Once your order ships you will receive an email with a tracking number. If you have not received it within the dispatch time above, email info@anachic.co.uk and we will follow up the same day.
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unworn pieces in original condition, with tags attached. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Custom-made and personalised pieces are final sale unless faulty. Full details on our refund policy page.
